Present

My son has come home from nursery with a birthday party invitation - it's a friend at nursery but I don't know her or the family at all. Presumably we need to take a present but I'm clueless as to what girls like and what would be a reasonable present to buy!! Any ideas?

Books - Asda do some Julia Donaldson books for £4 and a packet of stickers for £1 - done!

I was the same a couple months ago so I just text the mother (the rsvp number) and asked. She said not to bring a present so we just made him a card. Some people still gave gifts and other just gave cards.

I've bought a little craft set for my daughter to give her nursery friend

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with things like colouring books/crafts! Xxx

We just had my little boys 3rd birthday and we had put my number on to rsvp the parents text me asking what he liked, I made it clear that no present was necessary but I think books and craft sets you can’t go wrong

Aldi have playdoh (own brand) in a rucksack with tools included for £4.99 my daughter would love that
