Getting numb in this TTC journey

Just wanted to vent. After a year or TTC and 2 MCs that we're aware of, am just feeling bit numb and tired of this TTC journey. Since March24 when we had our last MC, we haven't been successful yet. Not sure if we should continue to try naturally or start IVF soon as am conscious of age (above 35). Also am in this weird transition of being so ready to be the parenthood phase except we're not there yet. Anyone been through similar experiences or has any helpful comments please feel free to share, thanks. X

I’m so sorry for your losses 💕 I’m 31 and have been trying for over a year, with 2 Mmc, the most recent also being March ‘24. I’m so ready to be a Mum. I hope we both get our rainbow babies soon 🌈

I'm also sorry for your loss, Sarah. Yes indeed I hope so as well! Have you guys done anything differently after the recent loss or done tests etc?

I had 3 MC before my miracle daughter at 36 so try not to give up hope yet!! It can happen I promise. What worked for us is to relax and not track it as this was putting too much pressure on things not happening.

We have had blood tests and my partner did a sperm test (not that I think that’s the issue) we get the rest of our results Thursday.

Im 33 in aug, have been trying for 2.5 yrs , with 2 miscarriages. I got ALOT of tests and have been referred to a charity called Tommys who help with recurrent miscarriages. Im not partly private and partly NHS and im currently on my 2 week wait with my 1st round of letrzole (ovulation induction medication) Good luck with your journey. Look after yourself and your partner and keep reminding yourself of your love for each other as it can become taxing on you both x

@Breeze I'm sorry you had to go through it 3x but glad you had your rainbow baby daughter! I'm trying to relax but am still having anxiety. I'm not really tracking this cycle as I roughly know what to look out for based on my body symptoms and time of the cycle. It's difficult not to think about it but will try!

@Sarah Hope the results will be alright 🤞🏻 Did you do a scan as well?

@Stacey I'm sorry about your losses. Did they find out anything from the tests you had done? Interesting they gave you an ovulation induction medication, I asked our doctors if I can take those fertility medications and both said no as I was ovulating, and that IVF with PGT would be more appropriate. Thank you, and you too 💗

Thank you! I haven’t done a scan, no.

Send me a PM hun x
