How long until you can get pregnant postpartum?
FTM. 20. How long until you can get pregnant again? I’m 8 weeks pp and I’m not sure when I should go on birth control or be concerned. Any recommendations?

I was told to wait a minimum 18 months (c section mama here) but ideally she said earliest I could get preggers again was 6-1 year (I hated being preggers so I’m trying again as soon and safe as possible. Midwife also told me that after a c section a lot of obgyns will push to have another c section as fear or rupturing the suture sites but a vbac would be possible
I got the implant put back in just over 3 weeks after my little one was born, but we used condoms. X

You can get pregnant 3 weeks after giving birth. You are most fertile postpartum. You’re midwife should discuss contraception with you soon after birth. I went onto the coil 6 weeks after my birth and used a condom before then x
