Baby Daddy

An honest question - do you guys purchase a gift for holidays/birthdays for your child to give to their dad? Do I just leave it?

We just leave it for his bm. She’s remarried and has a husband who can buy for the kids. He has me to buy for the kids. It’s two separate households

I used to. But now he is more a sperm donor so I don’t see the point in wasting money. lol

5 kids from 4 dads here. For my oldest two 15 and 7, if they ask to get their dad something at the store I absolutely say yes. They are good dads. The 4 year olds dad absolutely not and never will. And my littlest two, their dad is my husband so yes of course. As far as Mother’s Day obviously it’s my husbands job and all the kids go with him to get stuff. The first two baby daddies always reach out though to be sure to tell me happy Mother’s Day.

So for Father’s Day I told my girls to call their dad to say happy Father’s Day and I my oldest asked me are they supposed to get him a gift and I said you don’t have to so my oldest said can we get a gift for my boyfriend because he’s like a dad to them and my other two girls agreed to it

depends if he’s actually involved or not. if he is then i wouldn’t see why not but if he doesn’t really bother or help, i wouldn’t . i made that mistake.

I think it’s a good idea depending on your relationship and if he’s a good and present father. If you guys are cordial then I would say to do it
