Anyone that has been on depo is is true that it takes it 9 months for it to be effective

That wouldn’t make sense to me since I’ve always been told you are only supposed to be on it for 2 years and then switch to something else for a year so you don’t get bone density damage. It is supposed to be effective within 10 days of the shot depending on when your last menstrual cycle was.

@HeavenLea idk if she was a nurse at my ob office or what but she said that some people have used it long term depending on how your body repondes to it but ik it was probably crap for it to take that long I mean a mouth or two would make sense but 9mouths didn't sound relisic to me you said basically what my cousin said that used to be an ob so I don't think I am going to believe my cousin over a person I am only ever going to probably see for the shot I told my bf this about that it don't take 9 mouths and idk how to reassure him of that because he said that I might want to double check that and have the nurse ask my ob but I don't trust that she will ask him so if I do I will just ask him directly myself
