found this birthday card, i assume it was for me, under a bunch of clutter in my baby daddy’s nightstand drawer that we share… my birthday was last month… says he “ lost track of it “ i slowly start to realize how much worth he sees in me… i didn’t even get a birthday cake, meanwhile his cousin got a $125 pair of shoes from him. he gives me so much 💩 for holding on to the resentment from him doing that, but i’ll never get over it. seeing as how i was actually with him when he bought the card & he bought his cousin one too but only focused on his cousins’s. didn’t even bother to write anything in it… & i didn’t even get a birthday cake…

Tbh I have done that hundreds of times I've bought cards for my husband for Christmas, birthday and our anniversary and I completely forget to actually give them to him as when the day comes we are normally busy either 1 being parents or 2 we aren't even in the house until late. Tbh we are as bad as each other but we always remember to give cards to everyone else

I don’t always want to tell a woman you deserve better, but hearing how he can go out his way for his cousin, but not his girl the mother of his child will always have me saying leave him. Don’t even continue to waste your time, baby. You’re better than that.

It doesn’t take much effort to show someone you care even if it is just a card, so I understand how you feel. When you love and care so much for someone it’s nice to feel it back.

@Patience meeeee I does that lol 😂 Well never a SO but man I have years of family cards in my kitchen drawer lol I'm just thinking when I die and they go through my things there's going to be shoebox full of unsent cards. Smh 🤦‍♀️
