@Tanya ok 🤞🏻 my app says 5 days but tests still low at the moment so it’s hard to know if I will actually ovulate then
I got pregnant with BDing 5 days before ovulation and that was it x
Apps just make estimations but I'd try to BD every other day from now if you aren't already, then you'll definitely have sperm waiting when you do ovulate.
@Saff how did you know you were going to ovulate 5 days later though? And did you have a girl?
Sperm can live for up to 5 days. There’s nothing you can do though to increase your chances of having a girl.
@Bethan how do you know when to do it 5 days before though? Because you don’t know when ovulation is coming
You might know if you have a regular cycle. If not just BD every other day. Then if you are ovulation testing, peak day and the next 2 days after. I test for ovulation and I’m really regular so I know around the time. We BD every other day for the week before I am due to ovulate and then when I have my peak we BD that day, the day of ovulation and the day after. Its basically the SMEP method that Tanya posted
I didn't necessarily "know" but I knew my body quite well from monitoring LH levels from previous cycles. I also get EWCM up to 5 days before. It wasn't a "planned" pregnancy so but just wanted to comment as you can still get pregnant 5 days before ovulation. I had a boy. X

Sperm live about 5 days so 5 days before ovulation and then 24 hours after ovulation.
