Girl names!

Hi All, we have been planning to name our baby girls Aoife Georgia & Harper Delilah. Do they sound like mouth fulls? We are also not Irish and Aoife is an Irish name, we have just been in love with the name since we met. We also like the nicknames for both “Effy” and “Harps” Any opinions please!

Hii! Just be prepared for a LOT of people not to be able to say Aoife 😮‍💨 but I really like Aoife Georgia. Harper Delilah sounds like a little bit of a mouthful! Don’t think it matters particularly whether or not you’re Irish either! I’m Irish and my name is Welsh. But again, just be prepared for people to ask ‘are you Irish?’ 🤣

Thank you for your response! We have been wondering whether Harper Rose would be nicer. However, my partner wasn’t as keen!

How do you pronounce "Aoife"? Idk if I've ever heard that before but that's cool! Definitely prepare for a bunch of questions on that one. Harper Delilah is long but I think it flows beautifully ❤️

I love Aiofe! That’s my front runner at the moment the only thing that is putting me off slightly is people saying ‘Eva’ my Dad straight away pronounced it like that and it got my back up straight away 😂xx

@Kylee it’s like “ee-fah”☺️

@Rosie Awh! Yeah I wouldn’t like Eva for short! I think you just have to correct people. My name is a little more unusual so I’m kind of used to it!

Yes definitely, xx

I love the name Harper. The rest aren’t really my cup of tea. However, all that matters is that you and your partner love them!

One of my twins is going to be named Harper too🩷 I love it! Both names are very pretty

@Taylor Awh! What are you thinking for your other baby?☺️

My other girl is Violet 💜
