Hi Hannah. No advice as such but I had the exact same. A large cyst which resulted in a smaller right ovary after the op to remove it. I didn’t know anything about it being smaller till I had a private scan and they said it was significantly smaller. I fell pregnant no problem and scan revealed it came from left ovary rather than the right anyway. Good luck to you! I’m sure you’ll be all good ❤️

@Katie thank you I found out about it when I was pregnant with my daughter and I hope it be easier to fall pregnant this time round hopefully and thank u xx

I had bilateral large ovarian cysts removed last Feb and I’ve had no follow up or anything at all and I am now finding it more difficult to conceive, I may be just unlucky because I’m older now or the fact that they had to remove from both ovaries. I spoke with my GP yesterday and I will be going for an ultrasound to check what happened, but this could be a long time. I was told before I had it that it shouldn’t impact my ability to conceive but if you could ask for a follow up sooner rather than later that might help! I’m annoyed I waited this long to ask to see what they did. I was the same they found them when I was pregnant with my second, no mention with my first so I assume the appeared in between 🤷‍♀️ I almost wish I’d left them now!

@Emily I'm so sorry that has happened to you my my check up isn't till this Saturday and it's a phone call one and I got told no damage was done to my ovary so hopefully I'll be OK and I hope they find out what going on with you soon xxx

@Hannah ph that’s good news! It should hopefully make things easier for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I had no discharge paperwork, follow up appointment or follow up scan I’m really disappointed because I feel like they just didn’t care. I got a letter to say it wasn’t cancerous that was it. Luckily my GP is backing me but I know it will be another 9-12 months before they even see me.

@Emily that is not fair for u at all they have neglected you I would definitely keep pushing them as u need to be looked over xx

@Hannah thank you I will, I really hope that you will get some clarification on Saturday!

@Emily yeah hopefully wishing u all the best I do hear taking folic acid helps get pregnant xx
