Edward
How common is the name Edward now? I like it and think it goes with my son’s name (August) but kind of wanted something a bit more unusual like August’s name is.

Edward is definitely more of a traditional name, but unlike others, i wouldn't say it's used that much at the moment. i know one boy named Edward, aged about 7, but he is known as Teddy. 🤷🏻♂️ if you are unusual, you could mix it up and go with a similar, but likely slightly more unusual, option - Edgar, Edmund or Edwin. 💙
Not overly common, only know of one… lots of Ted/ Teddys about. Ernest is lovely with August too
I know a few Teddys who’s actual name is Edward
