Birth Control
Hey ladies, I’m currently 36+3 today! My last midwife appointment they talked about what birth control I would like after birth! I was previously on the pill which worked great however they seem to think the mirina is the was to go?
I also read about an injection which sounds easy?
Would love to hear different opinions? And what options you are going for! Thanks xx

I did the injection and it didn’t work for me. I tried it for a year and had a period the entire time. But I think it works well for some people!
Thank you for that! With the injection have you found you are gaining weight? Read that this may be a side effect?
I personally haven’t had any weight gain.

I exclusively breastfeed and I’m on the depo shot. You just have to go into the office every three months for it. I’ve gone three times now. The first time I had some spotting, but nothing beyond that. I don’t pump, so I don’t know output, but baby never had issues feeding.
