PMDD treatment

Looking for others experiences. My mood swings don’t happen during the expected time of a cycle. I always felt this might be true, but since treatment for PMDD has started, it has been confirmed. I intend to bring it up at my next appointment. As it doesn’t seem like an urgent matter, considering I’ve been like this my whole life. Just wondering if anyone else feels like this is true for them as well.

I haven’t been diagnosed with PMDD but I suspect it. I get a good week and a half of “normal” and then the rest of the weeks until I start, I have severe mood swings. I once brought up my suspicions to my doctor but he brushed it off

@Brittany it’s considered standard medical practice for doctors to brush off women. It’s infuriating. The mood swings are very real. I feel like it’s a domino effect for me. Once my emotions are befuddled, I loose focus as well and so on.

I see dr. D in canton. It’d be a hike for you, but she’s so worth it if you can do it! https://www.cantoncenterchiropractic.com/member/dr-danielle-p-potter/
