Methotrexate

I had a methotrexate shot in November 2021, I didn’t need a second but did end up going into hospital to help with pain management. My hcg levels dropped back to 0 about a month later and in May 2022 I found out I was pregnant with my rainbow baby. I had her at Christmas time 2022 and am now pregnant with our second little miracle due in September! It’s a horrible thing to go through but you will make it out the other end!

Had methotrexate in May 22 as had ectopic in the left tube , had 2 injections then had bloods taken twice weekly until hcg was 0 that took 6 weeks . Fell pregnant again in August which sadly was another ectopic in the left tube again and ended up having the tube removed. Found out I was pregnant October 22 and baby boy turned one last month x

@Elle so sorry for your loss but this is an amazing story, congratulations! How did you find the side effects from the injection? I feel very flu like at the moment

I had methotrexate in march this year. I was so tired all the time, i just felt completely wiped out. Luckily I didn't need a second dose as my HCG levels started to drop quickly but I did have to spend a few nights in hospital as they were worried I was going to rupture xx
