Yes, I was on the pill for 5 years and my period went missing for 4. Doctors said it was because of the pill that it went missing. I got off of it, one year later my periods regulated and then I got pregnant lol.
I had depo (my old insurance only let me choose that one) and I’ve been on my period for over 3 months now. Thankfully my new insurance kicks in on the 1st of July so I can get pills instead of the depo because when I got it, I felt horrendous. I still do. I’ve literally been on my period since March 18th because of the depo shot. 😭 I would give anything to not have a period right now
@Hailey wow I’m sorry to hear that. I was on depo & never got a period. I hope it stops soon I know that could be hard.
@Erica I’m hoping it will end soon because the birth control cycle of the 3 months is finally over so hopefully no more longer then a week but if it continues past the first I’ll go on a birth control pill that helps stop my period. I can never remember the name I just know that you take an either a pill that stops your period or if you want one you take a different color that’s in the same packaging. (My sister showed it to me) I just rather not have a period atm lol considering I’ve had my period for more then half of my life and I’m about to be 23 is scary lol. (I started really typing. I just turned 9 and we didn’t even get the period talk in school yet so I legit thought I was dying). The last day I wore white pants 😂I hear that most of the time you don’t get periods during depo I’m just really unlucky when it comes to my period. From the moment k started I got it twice a month for 9-13 days long, so basically every other week. My ob literally said I probably would be like this
Until a full year into depo. And now I’m like nope I’ll get something else. I didn’t think I’d be bleeding this much. Like I knew I’d have my period but not for 3 months straight long lol
@Hailey wow I’m the total opposite I’m very irregular I don’t get my period at all much. When I first got it I think at like 12 ( don’t remember exactly) but I got it that once & never got it again for almost 2 years so they put me on the pill. 🤦🏻♀️
@Erica omg I wish. I would love to not have it atm. I’ve been on it for so long I’m starting to have disgusting discharge from how many tampons I’m using (I can’t use pads, and I can find my maternity clothes underwear anywhere 😭 so even on days I’m not bleeding as much I still have the discharge and I’m so over it.
