How long to get pregnant after MC?

Took me one try with first and three months with second that ended in MC. Since MC, two cycles I have not gotten pregnant. I know it can take time but it’s been pretty quick for us and I’m wondering if it’s taking longer because my hormones are still readjusting? It’s hard to be patient when you want something so badly and cry almost everyday. Does anyone have any suggestions? Did you take anything that helped? I am so sorry for everyone else going through this too.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss 😘 this is my first cycle after my miscarriage and I’ve tested positive. Wasn’t expecting it to be so quick, and I can’t work out if it’s good thing or not because my anxiety is through the roof. I don’t have any tips unfortunately as it seemed like a bit of a fluke for us, but sending lots of positive energy.

Remember every body is different ❤️ a 6 week MC is different than a 16 week MC when it comes to hormones and the uterus getting back to normal. If you'd like to hear stories about TTC after MC, Reddit has a ton of threads about it

@Michelle thanks. I was 9 weeks and just hopeful it would be sooner since I had my first period a month after MC and ovulated during second cycle.

I cry everyday and I know I need to try and move on but it hurts so much. My body feels fine! It’s so so hard to think positively and know it will happen again. Thanks for your support.

Really sorry to hear about your losses. I had 5 months without trying and just took time for ourself as a couple and just decided to try again when I was ready and when my body was back to normal xxx

For me it's 13 months and counting since my miscarriage at 12 weeks.... I think I'm still grieving it in a way and the longer it goes on the harder it gets... I've heard the full range from a few weeks to years later. It's frustrating and tough and I'm sorry that everyone here is going through it. Part of me wonders if I'm not psychologically ready to be pregnant again and that's why it isn't happening, even though I really feel I am and its what I desperately want! Sorry, bit of a rambling response but just to say I understand where you're at and how frustrating it is when weeks turn into months. You're not alone

I'm pretty much similar to you, took us 1 or 2 cycle with the first that unfortunately ended in a MMC, then 3 cycles with a second, and now it's 3/4 cycles after that second MC and nothing yet..but it's already been a year since we started ttc and given my age (36) I think we may just look to do IVF as not sure how long more to wait and chances of getting pregnant decreases while chromosomal abnormally eggs will increase.. :( my cycles are actually even better than before after my last MC so don't think it's my hormones adjusting (also took blood tests all mostly look fine), just not happening yet..

Took us 11 months (with 4 failed IUIs) to conceive again after a 13.5 week loss. Currently 32 weeks with our rainbow. Everyone is different. After our loss we discovered we had low sperm. Something we would never have known without our loss. It’s been an informative and long journey.
