IVF PREGNANCY & Induction

I'm 40+1 now, went to monitor the baby today, everything came back good, movment is fine and heart rate is good. But, the doctor explained to me that for IVF pregnancy's, they really not recommend to go beyond the due date, as there are evidence that for IVF pregnancy's, the placenta function starts to drop, and the support to the baby is dropping. So I got just a sweap today, and asked to have another day to try to induce naturally, and book induction for Monday. Did anyone here went through the same? I really wanted to do as much as I can naturally, and also afraid to end up in C Section (as I heard that a lot of inductions end up in the operating room).

Hi, Based on my IVF I am also is 40 +1. My duo date got changed to the 24th instead. I was told I am at a higher chance of developing preeclampsia and was also recommended not to go above 40 weeks. Got induction booked for Monday as well. I do worry about ending up with the C-section but trying not to overthink and see how everything develops.

@Vera good luck with everything 💕 let's hope to be naturally induce until Monday 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thanks, good luck to you too 😊
