Tonies box or Yoto box?

anyone dabbled in either of these yet? Wanted to buy one for either birthday or Christmas. I prefer tonies but my boyfriend thinks we’d get more out of Yoto. Any opinions? 😊

We have a tonies. Stopped working about maybe 3 uses. It worked out more practical for us to make a youtube playlist full of audiobooks and buy from amazon Audible. He prefers them and they're significantly cheaper. Hope this helps

My 4y old daughter has had a tonie box since she was 2, and has used it every day since. My 11m old recently discovered it and enjoys playing with the little characters! I don’t know much about the yoto for comparison, I believe the cards are a bit cheaper than the tonie characters, and probably much easier to store! But my 11 month old is able to pick up the Tonie characters and put them on the box himself which I’m not sure he would be able to do with the yoto cards just yet! 😊

I’ve done some research into it and it seems people get much more life out of the yoto. I like that relatives can record and make their own cards. So I’ll be getting a yoto when the time cones

We have 2 tonies boxes, one for each child. They both listen to them every day, I wouldn't trust either of mine with yoto cards as my eldest would rip them and my youngest eat them! You can record your own footage on the app as well and load onto the generic tonie that comes with it. Yes the tonies are about £15 each but we often get them as presents from family members and they regularly do offers on them which we utilise.

Not tried yet but going to get a Yoto when he’s a bit older. I don’t like that you have to have the figurines for the Tonie box as I know they’ll just get lost and for on the go it’s not so practical ❤️

@Sophie We got gifted a tonies box - any characters you would recommend that your little ones love?

@Beth my 11 month old really likes the sheep lullabies one and his Thomas the tank engine and my 2.5 old favourites are iggle piggle, pooh bear, elmer and moana!
