Venting - IUI

5Dpiui and no pregnancy symptoms. I think this time it didn't work. I don't know whether to keep trying IUI or wait to do IVF

I don’t know what number IUI this is for you, but my specialist let us know that chances of conceiving through IUI after 3 attempts significantly reduces. We ended up jumping to IVF after 3 unsuccessful IUIs. It was the best thing for us and I wish we would have gone this route sooner.

That was my 3rd time I was planning to start a 4th and final attempt in August but after that I may stop trying

@Marina good luck!

My dr also recommended IVF after 3 failed IUI attempts (plus a canceled round due to no follicle growth). It was a hard decision to make, but it brought me our beautiful perfect son and our 2nd by the end of the year. If you can make IVF work, I say go for If! But. You’re not out til your out! Baby dust to you mama.

I had three unsuccessful IUIs and now I have a beautiful 14 month old through IVF, and a girl coming this September. IVF is scary to start, but totally worth it. Best of luck with whatever you choose ❤️

5 days post IUI is too early. It's like 5 dpo, there's no way you'd have a positive or symptoms by then because implantation wouldn't have even happened. I did 5 IUIs before calling it quits.

5dpiui is still early so its normal to not feel any symptoms seeing as implantation has not occurred yet. Im on iui #1 and if this one fails, we have 1 more try before moving on to ivf in August

I did 6 IUI cycles. Non-successful. IVF has a much higher success rate and I Wish we’ve moved onto ivf after the 3 max! Also for our own mental health it’s been a lot. So Listen to the doctors, I was being stubborn and was nervous about all the ivf meds so didn’t change over and now i wish we had, but now I’ve started them, so fingers crossed, and the meds really aren’t too bad! Good luck!
