Are egg collection & transfer in same cycle
I’m about to start treatment in next months and wondered is it common to have egg collection and embryo transfer in the same cycle.
Or do you normally have a break? What would be the scenarios to mean there’s a break in between?

In terms of breaking, it really all depends if they decide to do a FET 🥰🙏🏻
If you're having PGT it wouldn't be in the same cycle usually as they need time to test the embryos. I had a fresh transfer planned, but I had OHSS which meant we had to have a "freeze all" cycle where they book you in for a frozen transfer instead a cycle or two later

I had egg collection and transfer same cycle! But it depends if you get OHSS xx
I had collection and then 5 days later embryo transplant.

I'm currently using my natural cycle (had to be on period when I started) I have egg collection booked in, and depending on how it all goes, Transfer will be 3-5 days later x
