Getting your toddler a gift?

We’ve done a goody bag for our 3 year old. It’s got a squishy dinosaur, playdough, a puzzle and a book. We’re not having her at the hospital but when we get home, it’ll be ready for her to given by her baby brother and then we’ve got the baby a little sensory book for her to to give baby too xxx

Yes we have ordered a little present for our toddler to be from baby brother/sister. Not sure we will take him to the hospital to meet baby, depends on how long I’m in for. All being well it’ll be a short hospital stay and we will do introductions at home.

I found a bundle of postman pat toys on vinted that baby is bringing to give to his big brother - he will be beside himself 😂 we also took our toddler to buy his new baby a present and he chose a teddy which we wrapped together the other day so they'll do swaps. Hopefully it will ease the sting a bit! 🙈X

Deffo do it! I did it when my 2nd was born for my 1st and there was a 15month gap.. I'm now doing it for my 2.5year old and 15month old.. I've got them a bag with their name on, soft toy, big sis/bro book, big sis/bro tshirt, some chocolate and a congrats card x

Oh yes I’m going to do that, you’ve just reminded me 🫣 My first is 4 so I think he’s going to be abit jealous but if he knows his sister got him a present he’ll be so happy 🤣

Yes we are doing this. He’s 3 and loves Duplo/ Lego had his eye on this plane for a while so getting him that and some jigsaws which he also loves basically also thinking of things that will keep him occupied whilst I’m breastfeeding etc!

I got my 5 yr old son a new swing for the garden some new arts and crafts and a guitar ...I'm not due until 10days time but wanted to gift him before baby comes he asked why I get so many presents bless him I told him because he's to be a big brother soon and he's a great boy.
