Should I take a pregnancy test??

I’m always 25 days on my cycle and like clockwork. I breastfed a couple months then have had 2 periods in the normal time I’d have expected. This 3rd period just isn’t coming 🤦‍♀️ it’s 7 days late. I’ve had period like feeling for a week the odd spotting. My partner and I have been doing the pull out method (I know… please dont judge) which worked for the last 4 years till we decided to have our little one. He has 2 boys already so as a family of 5 were now done. I don’t know if I’m over thinking or if my hormones aren’t settled enough yet. Will probably buy a cheap test today but wow this isn’t the same feeling as over a year ago when we were trying for a baby 😔

Not judging but the pull out method isn't actually a form of contraception 🙈 your super fertile after having a baby so deffo get a test just incase x

@Chernien I know 🤦‍♀️ feeling a very stupid 37 year old. It took so long trying for our little boy.

Oh I feel you! I was avoiding what I thought was ovulation weeks and using the ‘pull out method’ I’m now about 7 weeks pregnant. Best to just do a test and see then you’ll know either way but I understand the not the same feeling as last year x

@Sibs I took a test and it’s positive. ….I’m now in a panic as I had spotting last week (start of missed period) but the one before was light. Sadly my partner and I are in agreement we can’t go through with this. I love my baby so much I do t want to take away from the time I put into him. Hope you’re ok. They say you’re more fertile after a baby but bloody hell! I took sooooo much sex to fall pregnant last year and tried for quite some time. I’m in complete shock x

Aww it’s such a tough one I was in two minds like I can’t do this but I’ve definitely come round to the idea more now. I felt really stupid because as much as I probably would have wanted I definitely weren’t ready yet. I also felt guilty that I should be enjoying my LO. So felt like I was taking it from her our time. Saying that I’m 36 and if we decided to have one later and it didn’t happen I’d be gutted as it took us 4 years to get pregnant. Hope you’re ok though you’ve just got to do what’s best for you xxx

@Sibs it sounds like an accidental blessing for you 🤗 4 years to be gifted with this one, so I’m thrilled you’ll have a complete family sooner than you thought xx

Yeh as hard as it might be having a 1 year old and a newborn I’m sure it will be fine 🙈🙈 xx
