I was wearing an $8 outfit while somebody deadass told me “not everybody can afford vacations” (my kids’ family paid for our tickets on spirit air, yall). I think if you present a certain way, are resourceful and know how to find a bargain, people assume all kinds of things.
I too would like to know.
I love a good thrift store or flea market cause you can still find clothes that have there original price tag but get them really cheap or next to nothing.
If I want to go on a vacation I do the 5 dollar challenge and 1 dollar challenge for a couple months
Every time you get done paying bills and getting groceries and gas and if you have left over change or bills such as dollars , 5s ,10s,20s and make a envelope and write on each envelope dollars envelope, 5 dollar envelope and so on and get a jar for the change and don't cash the change til the end of the month
