Yeast that won’t go away

My doctor prescribed me clotrimazole 1% for my yeast infection and when I told her I was on day four of the treatment but still had all my symptoms she prescribed me difulcan 150 a low dose but I’m so scared to take it. I just want to keep doing the cream for a few more days and see if it help but she said not to do that. I don’t know what I should do. Has anyone been in the situation or taken this pill pregnant? I’m only 18 weeks pregnant.

Just wash with baking soda and warm water every night and every morning, it happens with me last two week and I used the cream but it won’t go away, the day I start waching either baking soda and warm water i felt so relieved and it’s safe just wash from the outside and you will feel the difference

I just got over having a yeast and a bacterial infection at the same time. I was prescribed the cream and the gel both has helped me. I chose the gel and cream over the pill cuz it gives me a loss of appetite

I'd do a 7 day yeast treatment and then if it wasn't gone take the prescribed pill

@Julia have you taken the pill this early in pregnancy?

@Zahra do you mean you just wash the outside of your vagina with baking soda and water, like in the shower?

Yess it helps alot

Put the baking soda in pot and add warm water then start to wash with it

I personally haven't taken it while pregnant but we're almost halfway through our pregnancies here and if doctor prescribes it I'm guessing it's worth the risk because they don't want you to get worse. Obviously my opinion so do what makes you most comfortable. I also did baking soda baths for my daughter when she had one and it really seemed to help her!
