Father’s Day

For those who have used donor sperm as a same-sex female couple, or as solo women, can I ask how you are navigating Father’s Day, if your children are old enough to have an awareness? Are there any particular questions you have encountered from your children, or resources / explanation concepts you’ve found helpful?

I have the same question… currently pregnant but wondering what other couples do!

Being a lesbian I have thought all of this through a lot… and I think even though my kid won’t have a “father” just like for any other kid it’s the norm in my family to wish grandpa and uncles and whoever else a happy Father’s Day! My kid will always have a male role model in their life to celebrate ❤️

I will be explaining how they were conceived as young as they can possibly start to understand. They will always know where they came from. That being said I’m just barely pregnant… but I have thought about it a bunch.
