Ovulation tracking

Hi all. I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice/reassurance. We are trying for baby number 2, our little girl is one next month and we wanted a fairly small age gap between them so have now come off my contraception and started tracking (first month of tracking). We were very lucky with baby number one as it happened on my first cycle off contraception. The reason for my post is just to question why my ovulation levels would go up, then come down and start to go up again. I started testing after my period ended and according to my app I am due to ovulate in 5 days. I have added a picture of my tests for reference. Thank you all!

Levels can vary throughout the month. Sometimes they rise slightly and but we don’t ovulate, then our bodies try again, all perfectly normal. Also different times of day can produce different results. I find the best result is early afternoon for me. All in all it looks normal to me and I’d expect your peak in the coming days. 😊 best of luck for no.2 🤞

Thank you so much for your reply. That makes me feel better, this getting pregnant malarkey is a bit more complicated than they have told us 😂😂 x

Oh it’s a chaotic rollercoaster at the best of times 😂. BBT is also a handy tracker to gauge ovulation and you can link the strip results in Premom app for a bigger picture. My little boy is one next week and I’m after a small age gap like you. Fingers crossed we get BFPs soon 😊🤞
