Contraceptive pill

Advice please ladies! I went back on the pill a couple of months ago at my 6 week check up. It’s the type where you take it for 3 weeks then have a week off for you period. 1st month fine and normal. This month I have NOT had sex since my last period but have missed 3/4 pills. no sign of my period at all apart from some brown discharge and now almost at the end of my “period” week. Is this because I messed up taking it properly? I can’t be pregnant as haven’t had intercourse.

Yes, probably. Your period might come in the next few days instead.

I used to be on that one pre pregnancy and that happened to me if I missed a couple. Just take it when your meant to next and hopefully your period will arrive soon. Mine only last 2-3 days while I was on it. I've just gone back on it as the mini pill had me bleeding for 17 days which I'm not a fan of at all

You don’t actually get a ‘period’ when you’re on the pill. It’s a withdrawal bleed.
