Ovulation help

Hi I’ve been trying to track my ovulation, I’ve been testing every day but deleted some of them as I don’t think the result was correct as it was scoring 1.2+ when the line was lighter/as light as the ones pictured It’s saying I should be ovulating soon but my tests have all been negetive Is this normal? I don’t really understand

I’ve not seen anything like that before (the app) but when I was tracking with the clinic I would wait until after my period had finished and then would use clear blue tests to track, it comes up with a circle when you’re not fertile and then smiley face when you are and a flashing smiley face when you’re at your peak! Or something like that x

The clear blue ones seem so much easier but they are sooo expensive! I might have to just get over the cost and use them next month as these ones are very confusing!

@Rae they are pricey but so worth it! If i remember correctly you get more than one cap in the box so you keep using in one month x

I would recommend easy@home strips if you're using premom they scan in really easily and the ratios are more accurate 🙂

I recommend Easy@Home also, especially using the Premom app. They can be found through Amazon. Baby dust ✨️✨️

The app will just predict ovulation dates based on a textbook 28 day cycle but this definitely doesn’t apply to every woman. I personally do ovulate around day 14-15 but I have a really rapid surge so my tests would be as low as yours in the lead up and then suddenly go up to peak and right back down again in less than 24 hours. Definitely keep testing over the next couple of days :) Are you holding your bladder for at least 2 hours before testing? It can affect your results if you drink a lot and your urine is very diluted x

Hormone levels keep fluctuating throughout the cycles and even multiple time in a day. It’s better to keep testing for the peak.

When does it predict you are ovulating? I’d take them 5-6 days leading up to that date so you can confirm LH level went up to know your ovulation is coming in 24-48 hours

@Rae they seem much easier, however, when you understand how to use the regular strips, it becomes a lot more functional to use the strips because of how often you need them. Both lines must be equally strong to confirm a positive LH test. A negative LH test does not mean you're not fertile or that ovulation isn't approaching. A negative test just means that no LH surge was detected. Keep testing and hopefully you'll get a positive result soon!
