Periods && pcos

I was diagnosed this year with pcos after having my son due to my periods randomly becoming irregular.. I’ve been taking hormonal balance supplements that include insitol and a multi vitamin … I’ve been doing daily walks here and there and have cut out the amount of sugary stuff I eat .. with that being said my periods are still coming 2 weeks late each month and I feel like everyday is a battle.. last few days I’ve over indulged in things I shouldn’t really be eating but at the same time I just want to feel like I can eat what I want without having guilt! .. does anyone have any tips and advice as to what helped them with regulating your cycles as I do wish to try again for a baby next year.. my periods were regular before I had my son and I didn’t have no diagnoses of pcos .. I just feel confused as to why now I all of a sudden have this condition?

I feel confused as well and our stories seem rather similar as my pcos started after having my son and feel like I've been left in the dark ever since I've been diagnosed I've been researching but there's just so much out there I don't know what to do.

I had a gynecologist appointment at the beginning of the week as I got diagnosed with pcos with an ultrasound as after having my son my cycles got longer and longer then none existent( haven't had a period since march) and he suggested and low carb, low sugar, high protein diet as we don't process carbs and sugars like everyone else. He said that my period should start to come back once my body start to rebalance it's self with the diet if this helps.

The above video is helpful and defo try intermittent fasting (6-10) or whatever works for you, low carb, low sugar, high protein diet. Weight resistant training. I’m one and done (after fertility treatment ) but am working to feel better and lessen pcos symptoms. When I keep on the above my energy levels are sooooo much better and I even had a 31 natural cycle last month as opposed to usual 55! So there’s defo something to it.
