Lost Iud coil strings. anyone else?
I went to have my copper iud removed today. they couldnt find the strings and have referred me for a scan (could take 3-4 months) they said they scan you and locate it and then remove. anyone else had this? im worried now :(

It was fine went well, they managed to locate and remove x
mine was horrific. they gave me a scan and removal after a week. coil was in place but the string wasnt visible. after a while trying they injected 4 times inside of me!! and then pulled it out from the neck of the coil. so internally deep and ridiculously painful! 😰😰😰 its out now though thankfully

I had a similar experience but didn’t want to scare you x I nearly passed out from the injections and I begged then to let me lol just so they could do it but they managed to keep me conscious
