Nursery graduation UK

Good morning ladies. I have a question about nursery graduation. Do you buy any gifts for the teachers and if so what kind of gifts are appropriate.

Have a look on Etsy! I’m getting gifts from there, not sure what yet but there’s some lovely things. I love his nursery teachers I think I’ll cry on his last day! I’m emotional thinking about it 😂

Around Christmas our nursery sent an email saying they don’t expect gifts but if people wanted to get something then things like a voucher for a local coffee place, chocolates or a bottle of something. They said not to give a gift to a specific person and they would raffle them all out so everyone gets something. I don’t know if that’s typical but I’m going to use it as a guide for graduations too.

I want to know also

Vouchers are always good.

Maybe a gift card (all in 1) with a box of chocolates ?

I've not had a personal graduation but I work at a nursery and when babies have left my room to go to Toddler's Room parents have gifted a gift card and/or chocolates, all the staff love sharing the chocolates but it does depend on the people as some don't like chocolate. During christmas parents give more individual presents though like lip gloss and things or just chocolates again 😅 A card with a little personal touch from the child is always my favourite gift though, it's so nice to have something to remember them as you've spent all that time with them ❤️
