What are some gifts your parents gave you for your first child?

My parents brought our pram and carry cot ☺️ they did the same for my sister

My parents bought our travel system, and my in laws are getting our cot as they got my brother in laws when he had his baby x

My pram they bought for my first. They get spoilt when they’re here off grandparents anyway 🤣 my first is always coming home with a bag of stuff every time she sees them xx

Home made clothes and the pram system from my parents. My partner's mum, on the other hand, asked what we needed and refused to buy it when we told her because she didn't think we needed it. 🤷‍♀️

My parents bought the cot and baby swing, my in laws are buying the travel system for us 🫶🏽 They both have also bought lots of clothes out of excitement 😅 x

My parents with our first got our nursery furniture and travel system. Plus other little bits and bobs. For my second they’ve got nappies and blankets 😂. My partners mum for our first gifted some bath stuff that we couldn’t use as she had sensitive skin, knitted hat and mits which were badly knitted and she never wore, a blanket and some socks that didn’t fit for a year and mits that still don’t fit at almost 18m old😂🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s the thought that counts though right

Mine are dead but my husband’s parents bought our pram/ travel system the first time round ❤️

So me and my husband already got the pram and cot!! Lol xxx what would be a good gift my parents can get me? I want to ask them for something that I will definitely need but I’m not sure what xx

@Incognito are you breastfeeding or formula feeding? You could ask for the perfect prep machine if formula feeding. Or maybe a Moses basket/next to me if you're going to have one of those to start with? x

Oh no I’m gonna breastfeed full time! So I’m not gna use formula milk xx

Maybe a baby bouncer? I'm trying to think of other things that aren't clothes 😂 x

Other things I can think of: Babybjorn bouncer, Nanit camera system, Ergo 360 carrier, changing table or cot top changer with Mabel & Fox mat/ tommee tippee nappy bin/ nappy caddy/ & everything you need in it Obviously other brands out there but these are ones we loved with our first and will be using again
