So, all of the counts need to be greater than the numbers it gives you on the right. Apart from the bottom one. Did they discuss the results? There is a procedure you can have to help this you know? Have they spoken to you?
Ohhhh so his counts are not the best then.. We have seen a fertility specialist and they said we are a fit for IVF. Unfortunately we don’t have the funds for it right away so we will have to save up or find new jobs that cover infertility in their insurance. So in the meantime we thought to try some other methods. @Yog
I’m not qualified to make any comment on Your partner’s results but if my husbands results were those, I’d want advice about the actual issue first. There is a concentration there which is great, but for me, I’d want to know that there is enough motile sperm, some with normal morphology, that are mobile etc. I appreciate they can hand pick them and look for ones which appear normal but his actual condition could be addressed within your healthcare system and it help your fertility before you consider the expense of ivf. That would be what I’d do anyway.
@YogYes thank you so much for your advice. I really really appreciate it. They did go over the results with us and he does have motile sperm. It’s just not enough for IUI at the clinic but enough for IVF. He has retrograde due to his type 2 diabetes. So I’m just thinking if those numbers look pretty good then maybe our at home insemination may have a small chance at working
Has he had semen analysis? You can have makes with a lot of liquid and less concentration and visa versa. I think if you note what concentration that quarter teaspoon is you’ll know more but I’d keep trying with the kit until then as you never know. You can also use a fertility cup to hold it close to the cervix for longer.
