How many weeks pregnant am I?

I got my positive pregnancy test this morning at 14 days post ovulation. I’m confused on how to work out how many weeks pregnant I would be - the first day of my last period was the 5th May, but my cycles are not regular and they differ every time in length. This time I know I ovulated on CD25 and am currently on CD39 - does anyone know how to work out how many weeks I would be?

Your 5 weeks 4 days ...your a couple of days behind me ♥️

@Holly Congratulations! 🥰 this is what I originally thought - but wasn’t sure if it changes if my cycle was longer than the “norm” 28 days 🤔 I guess I will just find out at my first scan if it’s slightly off x

Some pregnancy calculators you can find online will let you put in an ovulation/conception date instead of last period. Technically, dating based on your period assumes you ovulated on day 14. So if you ovulated significantly later than your dates will be off. It's more accurate to go off your ovulation date. So when you tested positive at 14 dpo, I'd say that you were 4 weeks pregnant on that day.
