Gifts for older siblings

I’ve seen before babies bringing gifts for their older sibling. Is this something you will be doing and if so what are they getting them? I’ve got a 4 year old daughter who is very excited about her baby sister coming but I’ve no idea what they can ‘bring her’ gift wise. It doesn’t help that she’s just had her birthday. Any thoughts?

I've ordered this book it came in about a week. It's very cute. And something they can keep.

We are doing this for our three year old son. Lots of friends have done it and said, at least in the short term; it lessens the sting of suddenly finding themselves with a sibling! Will be this piece of Duplo he is very keen to have, it’s something I know will keen him occupied for ages based on how much he loves other pieces. So maybe something to make or keep her busy?

I've got some postman pat toys for my son from his new brother, he's become obsessed with it the last few months, so figured that would go down well 😂 he also picked out a teddy to give him when he's born x

We’ve got a little play kitchen where my girl can be as occupied as possible during the early days of trying to adapt to 2 under 2. Will be given to her when we get home from hospital and she can make her mumma a nice “cup of tea” and help look after her little brother ☺️

My daughter is obsessed with dreaded play dough right now so we’ve got a play dough set for her from her baby brother and she’s got him a little sensory book so they’ll both give each other a little something xx
