After your first pregnancy, how long did you wait to try to have another baby?

My husband and I originally planned when he was a year. That way your body has time to recoup and having 2 under 2 won't stress you the crap out.

We just started trying again for our next baby, my first is 2.5 years old and will be 3 by the time I would have the baby at this point. I have a friend who waits 4 years si the youngest is potty trained before the next baby and now they are having their third. Just depends. I wanted another baby sooner but my husband was struggling for a while with things so we waited until we were a little more ready. He's going to Law school next year so we want to have the baby before we move and then wait until after law school, which is about another 3 years before we have our third

We started trying for our second baby when our son was eight months and it took us eight months to conceive our second so they will be 22 months apart
