Name rant😭

When I ask for unique name suggestions from family I’m expecting Kylie Jenner, Nara smith, Halle Bailey type unique (stormy, whismy, halo) But instead I get: sage, charlotte, Claire, ramona, etc (usually names I’ve already heard or are boring to ME) Can you pleaseeeeeee help with actually unique or never before heard names

My daughters called sage 🖤

@Shannon no joke when my daughter was in second grade there were two Titans in her class. Though she was kidding till Valentine's Day list came out and saw.

@Noah it’s such a beautiful name 🥹🩷I just want to use a name I’ve never heard before

I hadn’t actually heard it until I chose it and now I hear it everywhere 😭😂 I get it, I like names I haven’t heard before because I hate the idea of 2 kids at school having the same name

Amaris Demelza Stellaria Xanthe Apricity Andromeda Io Evanna Casilda Neon Jericho Magenta Embry Zephyr

Merryweather Jupiter Starla Desirae/Desiree Thaddea Calliope Bluebell Lilac Lively Zephyra Stellar Anemone Paloma Zeilia

I have a Luxxen, and away to have baby number 2 who is going to be Everix. both pretty unheard of names in my opinion. We call my son Luxx and planning on nicknaming number 2, Ever 🤍

Names you never heard of because they are not actually used as names or names from other cultures?

i think it’ll be really hard to find a name only your child will have out of the entire human population. even the names you and others in the comments have listed i have heard at least a good handful of times. maybe you can come up with your own? like a combination of yours and a loved ones name etc. otherwise if the word exists chances are it’s already used as a name

@quiddo this is true. Took me till college till I meet someone with my name and since then I've met like 5.

@Krizia yep! it’s a big world. even vulgar names exist. i’ve heard of a couple kids with the name “shithead” but pronounced “shi-theed” yikes lol. unless you want your kid to have a rare name that sounds weird like..microwave or door handle, which may be names already lol. it’s so unlikely you’ll find a completely rare, one of a kind, only your baby has it, kinda of name. even so..you’re risking your child getting picked on or them not being able to get a professional job. celebrities can pick whatever weird name they want for their kids because their kids never have to work in a professional setting or under someone. and keep in mind kids can always change their names legally at 18. my kids have pretty uncommon names, they’re japanese but i still see a handful of people those names sometimes. there will never be one person with a name that absolutely nobody else has
