Legally Change Middle Name?

If your child’s middle name has never felt “right”, do you think it’s worth the trouble of legally changing it. I LOVE his first name, and it suits him so well. But we couldn’t agree on a middle and made a rushed decision to pick one to be discharged from the hospital. He’s four months old now and I still just randomly get hung up on thinking about it. But it feels like because it is just his middle name it would be silly to bother changing? But I call our oldest son by his first and middle name on a daily basis. If I ever even try to use our second’s middle name I get stuck on it and for some reason it almost feels like I’m talking about a different person?

In the process of changing our sons its their identity for life, if it doesn’t feel right to you then I feel like it’s best to do what you feel suits them. He’s young enough now that it can be done without it being confusing.

You get to change their middle name free up to being 1 year old x

@Roo cost hadn’t even crossed my mind, 🤦‍♀️. Good to know!

I changed mine when I was able to as I had two middle names one being my father’s surname as he wasn’t there to sign the birth certificate. All in all he was a penis and changed it to my stepdads surname now
