Desogestrel
I have taken desogestrel (Cerelle) for years and have never had a period whilst on it. I restarted it (with a generic brand) 6 weeks after giving birth and was period-free for 2 months, but now I’m currently having a period. Is this normal? I’ve never missed a pill. Google gives me mixed responses. I don’t want to have any periods 😞

No contraception is guaranteed to stop periods. I took desogestrel and would get irregular periods. Most I'd miss but I'd get the odd one every few months.
@Kelly I’m on day 7 of bleeding. Didn’t get periods this long without the pill 😭
