Is this normal? Sorry if it's TMI

So a bit of a back story I take a medicine that gives me irregular periods alright no problem. When I went on it years ago the doctor warned me it would happen that's fine. Now it's been almost 4 months since I gave birth and I'm taking my medicine like I'm supposed to but I'm getting regular periods? Is this normal like is my body still changing? I'm not used to having regular periods. Please give me your best advice or suggestions thank you

Hard to know without knowing the medication. For some post having a child can cause the hormones to balance and a regular cycle to start happening. It can take 9-12 months sometimes longer to go back to what was your normal or it could be that your pregnancy has caused your body to become regular.

@Stefanine it's a BC pill but it's not intended for BC it's for my epilepsy. During my period my seizures get worse so when I was younger my Dr put me on BC and I've been on it ever since

I'd say time for a review as depending on the pill and now you have had a pregnancy and if your breastfeeding it may not be doing the full job the doctor intended for it to do. Pregnancy can cause big hormonal shifts in our bodies and for some it can take upto a full 9 months for the insides to go back to where they belong and 2 years for sleep neurons and upto 7 years for the full body to recover from 1 full term pregnancy so getting regular periods and having the risk of seizures from them again it may be time to look at alternative
