Moses basket recommendations!

Does anyone have a Moses basket recommendation? Looking at buying one but don’t know where to start as prices seem to differ wildly!

This time round I’m not going to buy a moses basket, but a next to me cot. I purchased a maxi cosi iora x

We inherited our Moses basket so I can’t help with recommendations. Think about where you are going to use it; ours was only used downstairs last time and will be same again this time round. Don’t spend a fortune as they are outgrown fairly quickly! I’ve never bought one as I say, but make sure it comes with a stand (not sure if new ones do/need to be bought separately) xxx

Thank you! We looked at next to me cots but is a bit of a tight squeeze between my side of the bed and the fitted wardrobes - think I’m just going to have to reconfigure our bedroom!! We’re putting the house on the market so don’t want to change the spare room into a nursery quite yet - we’ll save it for the new place!

We’re doing exactly that (bar moving!). We’ve bought a next to me but I want to swivel my bed 90* for more room at the sides - we’re having to dismantle our built in sliding wardrobe to do it! We had a rocking crib and a smaller bed last time round! Good luck :) xxx

I have the Clair de lune rocking Moses basket. I got it off Facebook marketplace for £30. I bought a mattress for it off Amazon for £9. We love it lol Definitely recommend looking in charity shops and marketplace! They grow out it so fast so I didn’t want to spend a fortune lol

Facebook I got mine, I think it was free but we hardly used it. Only when he was a newborn

Which part of Wales from got 1 for sale £25

We bought a next to me for the bedroom and my parents bought us 2 Moses baskets 1 for upstairs + 1 for down. (Lived with my parents) I didn’t even put one upstairs as I had bought the next to me and fully intended on her using that but the first night home was horrendous she just wouldn’t go down at all so the following night we brought the Moses basket upstairs and she slept nearly all night! I think she was so used to being tucked up in my belly in a tight space that the Moses basket felt more secure to her. She was also a small baby so used the Moses basket until sorund 6 months before we switched to the next to me
