@KB 😂 hahaha! This is so true, my first pick was Talia/thalia but that name has been absolutely ruined for me.
My husbands niece is Serena (they’re Lebo/Greek) and we’re thinking Selena for our next if it’s a girl (we’re a Turkish/Lebo/Brazilian mix) I prefer Serene as the spelling, it also has a really nice meaning!

I like it. That’s because I had a student with that name who was lovely. She spelled it Serine (in English) When you’re a teacher, if you have one troublesome student, it can ruin the baby-naming experience for you 😂 it was very hard choosing names for my 2 sons. In the end I went with 2 names which were new to me.
