Baby number two

Has anyone had another baby, currently pregnant or trying? We’re so in two minds whether we want a second we had a really hard time with our first in the newborn and is a very high needs baby/toddler It frightens me to even think about getting pregnant, Is anyone in the same boat and went on to have another? How was the second? I’m more worried about having another baby the same as the first!

We currently trying for another

We are going to start trying in a few months. But I am also terrified at how it'll work! My toddler has coslept since birth and still breastfed. I'd like to stop both but so much easier said than done.😟

I’m currently due our second. First is definitely pushing things atm and I’m struggling with sickness (still), anaemia, diabetes and pelvic pain… but I know it’ll be worth it. First was a terrible sleeper to start with and I ended up cosleepjng from about 4 months because I physically couldn’t function on the lack of sleep, and that really helped

Due any day, I know it’s going to be extremely hard, but having them close in age will benefit them now and when there older, and we’ve decided where happy with 2, so all the baby stuff we can get rid in one go! Instead of starting all over again in 10 years! Personal choice really, we found out we where pregnant on my LBs first birthday which unfortunately ended in miscarriage, so we wasn’t trying, this pregnancy just happened 🌈 Our LB can be a handful at times but am sure all toddlers and kids can be! Hope you make the right choice for you and your family! ❤️

I'm 14wks pregnant. My son is a whirlwind, wild and loud. It does cause some concern that the saying goes "the second is always the worst".... but i just think how much my son would love a little playmate, a sibling to hopefully be close to as they grow up and of course the cuddles and fun we have. I do worry that my son won't get all our attention now but its down to us to make sure that doesn't change.

I'm due next week with my 4th, Sister to January 2022 baby and I think it's nice for them to have a sibling, for me it's hard but totally worth it 🥰 when you have it, you just do it 😁

I have a 4 week year old.... It's definitely hard in these first few weeks but our little newborn is not an easy one had my first day on my own looking after both of them today and only had 3 mini breakdowns so it's getting better 😂😂 but my toddler is totally in love with her baby brother it's soooo lovely to see!!! Xx

My second is due at the start of July and I have quite a high needs toddler already. I've been reassured that the second isn't always worse than the first and if you have had a harder time with the first you are well trained for the next one! 😂 We'll see what happens when baby's born but I'm excited to see them together and see how they grow up being close in age x

I have a 2 year old and a 11 week old. I found pregnancy with a toddler more difficult than a new born. I was really ill and tired during my 2nd pregnancy which meant I didn't have the energy to keep up with my toddler. Yes a new born is hard work especially with lack of sleep but if you have help from family, friends and a partner it is easier as you can then get rest. Both my boys are high needs and both had/have reflux. This has meant different formulas and medicines. Seeing the bond between my 2 already as such young ages really makes it all worth it though.

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant with our second boy. Nervous about having a second child st the same as a toddler but we want 3-4 kids x

I’ve got 5 month old twins and my Jan 22 toddler! I definitely found the first trimester harder this time around because I had a toddler to run after and couldn’t nap when I wanted and obviously carrying twins meant for the majority of my last trimester I was just soo heavy/exhausted to do much with my toddler but honestly I wouldn’t change it for the world! The bond my toddler already has with the twins is just beautiful to watch and I’m so excited to watch them grow up together 🥰 and yes I have 3 January babies 😅😅😅 xx

I have a 7 month old as well as my Jan 22 kid, my 2nd baby was definitely easier than my first 😂 and is a good sleeper thankfully 😁 it is sooo much hard work having a toddler and a newborn/baby but it's definitely worth it to have them so close in age

I have a nearly 5 month old as well as a very hard work Jan 22 little girl! Pregnancy was hard but with support from partner and family it’s been so worth it already, the bond the girls have is beautiful and yes it’s tough but it’s the best thing we could of possibly done having them close together 😍 plus our 2nd daughter is an absolute dream compared to our 1st!
