Has anyone else had Ferinject?

I lost 1.5 litres of blood at birth and had a blood transfusion and ferinject. I didn’t have any side effects or anything xx

@Shannon Oh goody! I lost 2.5l so they were pushing more for the blood transfusion but I see too many side effects with it 😂

I'm a gynae nurse and have given both numerous times to patients. Also I've had a blood transfusion before and had no side effects but felt abit better after 😊

@Shareace I think blood transfusion just sounds scarier 😬 I know it's all screened as I've donated blood myself but the risk of infections etc are a bit scary for me 😬 Only downside is the 2 week wait for ferinject to kick in

@Shannon Felt terrible to start with. Spent the night in hospital and was meant to be released at 5pm but they wanted me to stay another night and have a transfusion but I couldn't spend another night in that hell hole 😫

I've had ferinject and was fine.
