No advice on the colostrum as I haven’t managed to harvest any yet too but just check your hospital has a freezer to store it as induction can be a few days process and I know mine didn’t have one my last pregnancy! X

I attempted to collect for the first time this morning after a shower. I'm 36+5, couldn't get anything either😅x

Not sure if my technique was wrong or if i just haven't produced any yet🙈x

Make sure you are comfortable, and boobs are warm. Try expressing post shower, or after a warm flannels has been on your boob. As this should help. It's a very slow process, you may only get a couple of drops at a time, so don't rush it.

Not everyone can, I tried every day from 37 weeks in my last pregnancy and didn’t get any at all. I haven’t tried this time as I’m having a planned c section so didn’t want to do anything to bring on labour before that. I know it seems important because there’s SO much chat about it on this group but not to stress about it, it didn’t have any affect on my ability to feed when baby arrived x

I was the same I never go nothing I just had my baby and bought a pump today and still only managed to get a bit and now my boobs are so sore and rock hard not sure if I’m getting my milk on though

Im not getting anything either :(

I'm 38+5 and have been trying for nearly a week, still no luck either. As Anna said, it does feel like there is quite a lot of pressure for us to harvest, but it's not possible for everyone to do, and even harder if we end up stressing about it! X

I've only managed to get anything with the elvie pump, couldn't get anything hand expressing x
