Different temp readings - Gro Egg vs vTech
Help!
My Gro Egg is reading a couple of degrees less than our monitor - which one should I trust?
I’ve been going with the gro-egg as we used that before she went into her own room and she’s been fine. I am a bit worried though because it’s a lower reading and I don’t want my LO to overheat 😩

Our baby monitor is higher than our gro-egg! But we’ve tested with another thermometer and the gro-egg seems to be accurate so we work off that ☺️
I was told to throw them all out as they were causing me anxiety
Exactly the same pattern here with gro egg and v tech - agree with the above, would trust gro egg on the temperature!
I find my Vtech is higher because the camera itself when plugged in gives off heat so gives a higher reading!

We have a Gro Egg and a Vtech Monitor and our monitor is usually 3-4 degrees higher than our egg too! Luckily we also have a heating thermostat and found that that is always around the same temperature as our Gro Egg so we go by the Gro Egg also😊
