@Nicole that’s so sweet of you to sell. I’m feeling time is dragging 🤣 working on my patience. I ovulated on Saturday morning actually by the 36hr rule so I’m only 2 dpo 🫠 How are you? Xx
We used the clearblue digital ovulation kit, what did you use? I got a peak on Thursday and Friday so think I also ovulated on Saturday?! I’m feeling optimistic!!
I had ovulation induction. Trigger on Thursday evening so 36hrs later I’m assuming eggy was around. That’s Saturday morning 😊
I used easy at home ovulation strip tests and I should have ovulated Thursday or Friday as well. I don’t know how I’m feeling to be honest, I’m really hoping to get a positive and it stick this time 🤞, and I get what you mean about the days seeming to drag on!
The first week is so tame, it’s weeks two where your body starts to get ready for your period or testing for pregnancy age you are like “OMG MY EAR IS ITCHY, GONNA SEE IF GOOGLE SAYS IM PREGNANT” 🤣🤣
Hahahaha so relatable!! When I was pregnant with my son, my first signs were a high heart rate when running & abnormally large 💩s so you can imagine what my google search history looked like 😂
@Nicole priceless!! We were told we could have children so I couldn’t work out why I blew up like a space hopper. Kept expecting my period and even though we had been told it was impossible, I bought a test. I or felt a million times periody. Then I had zero symptoms for the whole pregnancy!
Wow! How far were you when you found out you were pregnant?
@Nicole just 14dpo. So early. I was just expecting my period! A lass in my group didn’t know until she was 7 months. Imagine that!!

@Nicole I’m waiting for AF this time. I have egg support injections that are HCG so you can’t test until a point anyway unless you want to test daily to see the HCG leave your system, then keep testing to see the line returns and gets darker if pregnant. The maths works out that I can’t test until my period would be here this time to guarantee it isn’t the drugs. So I’ll have to wait. I prefer it tbh as I had a chemical last month and I didn’t like watching the lines. How about you? I need to live my life through you guys testing 7dpo 🤣🤣
I’m planning on testing on Sunday 10 DPO just because I don’t have the kind of patience to wait for AF 😂 I wish I did but I’ve never been able to 😬
I’d set out with good intentions then curiosity would probably get the better of me 🤣 however, with this trigger you’d get a positive so there’s no point. It will test me I’m sure!
@Yog are you doing IVF? What are egg support injections? Hahah I would probably start testing at 7 DPO but I know I would see absolutely nothing then 😂 Going to join Catherine and aim for 10 DPO which is next Tuesday!! So just a week to go!
Shame I am sorry about the chemical 😕 I had 2 of those back to back before my son and they are hard but silver lining is that we can get pregnant like my gynae told me!
@Nicole no, I have follicle stimulation to grow one - two follicles and once one reaches maturity they trigger the egg release. I then have two further injections to help to mature the egg if it has been fertilised which is why testing has to wait. When you have ivf and egg collection pre fresh transfer you can test after 10days of the trigger so it helps. Frozen obviously you don’t have one.
@Nicole that’s what we thought about it. The clinic said my first was impossible, and they say the same now but my argument is that you never know when your last viable egg is. It could be 4 months ago, it could be in 2 months time. They work on averages based on blood scores and read them along with scans and consider chronological age - it’s not exact, it’s just a likelihood imo. Quite often things are unlikely, but not definitely impossible. This is why we try until we are satisfied we agree. 😊

@Nicole 7dpo today and 6/7 days until AF. I really don’t like waiting 🤣 I also have lots of strenuous stuff I really really need to get on with (DIY, attacking the hedge etc) and I’m obviously not doing that during the TWW. I really hate not cracking on. How are you? Doing ok? Xx
@Nicole I have test arriving tomorrow so will be able to take one at 10 dpo, the wait is horrendous! How about you?
@Yog the only mod I have made is not running! But cracking on with progesterone in the evening and not googling all aches and possible symptoms but at gym yesterday the high heart rate was back so trying to not read into that too much. I would lightly go at the hedge because I know how therapeutic that would feel 😂😂 This time next week we’ll know! @Catherine you going to have to let us know when you testing so we can stand with you in solidarity!!!!!!!!! Whooooop
@Catherine test day is Monday morning for you, right? @Nicole there’s only so many times you can Google to read “but then that could be placebo or your cycle hormones, wait for AF”. I’d stay off running this week. Take a walk 😊 they say circulation type exercises only but no swimming or cycling. I can’t imagine a heavy leg press is good either 😅 I’ll do the ironing 🙃🫠

I’m symptom spotting. I had a twitch in my right ovary area for about 20 seconds. And I have period ache scale 3/4 out of 10. 🙄 Only 7 days until AF 🫠
@Yog im looking forward to seeing what outcome you guys get! My fingers are crossed for you both! And don’t worry I will get that FMU! I have some easy at home strips and FR pack of three the early ready, the digital and the fast response coming tomorrow. I may have gone overboard but oh well 😂

Nay for me. The clinic say I should be thankful my first born at 42 was a miracle and lighting doesn’t strike twice. But then I’m like I ONLY NEED ONE EGG 🤣

@Catherine do you have any symptoms?. I’m not sure if I said in this chat but I didn’t have any on the TWW but maybe because I had no idea pregnancy was possible. I’m obviously hyper aware now as I’m actively trying. Tomorrow will be here soon! Let’s remember it’s the start and still early but here’s hoping we get a nice early BFP!!

Also the fact that you have a babe already proves you can do it! @Catherine 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 If I think back to how I felt with my son, all the same symptoms are here: fatigue, high heart rate and sensitive to smells BUT I only recently stopped breastfeeding so perhaps my body is gearing up for a big period? I stopped BFing 7 weeks ago and have had 1 small period between then and now 🤷🏼♀️

@Nicole if you’ve had one period you’ve started ovulating again so at least you know your body is starting to regulate itself. I had an immune condition and didn’t ovulate for a long time. I retired from professional sports and had a mini period, then the next month BOOM. Pregnant. I’m 21 months older and they say it’s a steep decline but you do hear of viable eggs happening for 43 year olds so I’m staying positive but with no expectations. Like you say, I just need one! 🙏🏼🤍 @Melb welcome to the thread. I’m excited for this everyone this week! @Catherine the fact symptoms are similar for menstrual cycle and pregnancy is a rubbish design imo! I have HCG drugs on top so previously Ive felt dreadful and for nothing 🤣
