Can we easily change the name after it’s born?
I have a name in mind for our future son, but if we change our mind after a few days or weeks, is that easy to do? Common??? I live in America by the way. Thanks

i think it’s easy within the first 6 months and after that it gets harder. but i’m not 100% sure
Maybe call your hospital and ask to talk to the people in charge of birth certificates or google or your state
My brother and sister in law changed their sons name a week later, it’s not easy because they order the BC and SS card at the hospital. I’m in California. You have to go to your county clerk recorder office. 🤷♀️ maybe tell the ob or midwife you’re not set in stone on the name, so they know not to order anything. ❤️
