How long did it take everyone to get pregnant & what can I do to help speed up the process?

Make sure you are drinking lots of water having folic acid and have sex as much as you can around ovulation time but the most important thing to remember is you will have a baby when its the right time.. Make lots of dua to Allah. Took me 2 years for my second 😇
It took me 3 months for my first but I feel like it’s going to take a while for my second & im worried as I’m just getting older so my chances will get slimmer & plus I’m worried I won’t be physically as fit as I am rn when raising my second

@Khadiijah I understand that it will happen when it’s written for it to happen Inshaaa’Allah, I just really want one now 😩 My first will be 2 soon & I don’t want a big age gap & I don’t want to get back to my old routine only to get pregnant, give birth & go through it all again for the next few years (sleepless nights, crying etc) Allah knows best but thank you
Yeah i get you, there is 6 years gap between my first and second. Download period app. If you have regular periods then this should help you track when you ovulate , watch out for stringy egg like discharge thats when you need to run and try 😂🍳 once you know kinda when that will come then do it before and when its happening. Your chances will be higher. May Allah make it easy for you and bless you will another child soon ameen
You can get ovulation test kits that can let you know when you are most likely to conceive. Having sex during this time will increase your chances of getting pregnant

It took me 2 to 3 months for my both .. the second time around it happened after one sexual encounter ..

@Stefanie I should really get this, I do use the period app to see when I’m ovulating & have sex every few days but nothing yet Whenever my period comes I get really sad coz I keep hoping I’d be pregnant
@Khadiijah I do use this app & to keep an eye on my ovulating days & do have sex on those days & even randomly but I’m just really craving for a second child. My first is so lonely as there’s no other children in the household & I feel bad for him I don’t take him to playgroup as he doesn’t like it & I get anxious over there too so having another child in the house would be good for him
What happened was I was watching my cm .. when it got really egg white consistency we had sex .. then we got busy with life and I lost hope that month 😆.. i turned out to be pregnant from that day .. watch your cm.. sometimes it takes only one try to get pregnant if you did it in the right time
As Salamu Alaikum sis, there are so many factors at play here. I had my two one after another and it's been a tough ride. Before my first I had 3 losses and then had my two back to back. My body didn't recover enough unfortunately- so a bigger gap I would definitely want but Allah knows what's best for us!! It's honestly very difficult to pinpoint what causes the delay (of course Allah knows when is best!) but the health of the man is often downplayed-recent studies have revealed miscarriage is linked to the man greatly. Before TTC, it's good for both husband and wife to eat good, exercise, I'm very pro herbs etc so folate is better than folic acid as its the natural form so try to have natural forms of this, then hijamah and mizan therapy etc. On top of this I would add doing ruqyah regularly and trying to ask Allah in the middle of the night. Increase of istighfar, and also accepting whatever Allah has decreed to be the best (I say this because I struggled a lot and had to keep reminding myself)

It’s cervical mucus .. you just check your discharge.. when it gets slippery and looks like egg white it’s the most fertile window for you
I tried for months....used the app didn't work then I used the fertility sticks from boots. The cheap ones, you just pee on the stick when you think you are ovulating and it will tell you - have sex then. First time I did this it worked after months if heartache and a miscarriage. Insha'Allah you will get there.
Remember tie your camel but trust in Allah'. We need to do all we can on our part so try anything ! Also putting legs up after sex helped some women I know.
This is currently me my little one will be 2 in August. It took us 3 years to conceive him plus MC before him. We’ve been trying since he was 8/9 months and still nothing and a mc in December.
@Nili may Allah make it easy for you sis, Aameen I’m sorry to hear you’ve had 2 MCs I’m really worried it’s gonna take a long life to conceive & honestly I’m really not as active or healthy as I once was & I don’t wanna go through pregnancy, childbirth & raising another child when I’m even a few years older coz that will take such a toll on me I wanna be able to take care of my child whilst I’m still in good shape

@Joanna I will buy these ovulation sticks, thank you. Usually I do have sex around my ovulation time but now I’m just thinking what if my ovulation days are a little off & my apps not giving me correct info
How old are you hun if you don’t mind me asking. Believe me I was the least active, and somewhat still am I was hitting nearly 14 stones and felt so disgusted with myself 😖 started going gym for just over a month now I hate it so much but I’m trying to lose weight

@Joanna it’s so hard doing this now, the lifting up leg after sex as my toddler is always awake when we have sex lool so he’s just there & ready to climb & jump on us, just so awkward this time round
