Hi! First, good luck! That’s so exciting! I just had my first one last week, it was uncomfortable but not awful, some cramping mostly. My clinics instructions said to be a couch potato for 48hrs if possible 😂 but things like getting up and walking around the house or small walks was fine! Still have to live life, just take it easy. I’m sure they’ll let you know what they recommend! Sticky baby vibes to you!! 💕

Really quick, didn't hurt apart from bladder being uncomfortably full, advised me to chill out for the day and then go back to normal the next day. Light exercise is recommended to keep optimum blood flow
I had four transfers altogether and none of them hurt. They do use a speculum and they are not able to use lube, so that can be a little… uncomfy. I would liken it to getting a smear test, only with a few more people in the room. The whole thing takes about 15 minutes and then you can go about your day as normal. I recommend NOT going home to lie on the sofa to vegetate and think your thoughts - plan a nice activity out if you can as it will help to take your mind off it. Good luck! 🍀😘🤞
My first ever transfer was in lockdown so my partner wasn’t allowed in with me. I was so nervous it would hurt as i had a coil fitted before which was horrible. I was expecting it to be the same but i didnt feel a thing other than really needing to pee. So try not to drink too much to the point you are uncomfortable. That was a bit sore specially after egg collection 5days before. I was advised on my last transfer to walk around for 10 mins after to help with blood flow x
Mine was quick and painless! Took 10 min from getting admitted to checking out. Didn’t hurt and I went to work after and resumed normal activity. I have a desk job so I didn’t feel the need to take time off. Good luck!
