I did think this but I don’t love Aurora. I love Rory/Rori for a girl but people will probably think she is a boy lol
Rori feels more feminine ☺️ there's Aurelia too, but tbh I prefer Rori! X

Don’t know if it helps or hinders but in Gilmore girls the daughter is called Rory short for Lorelai
This is another thought of mine… would people think I’m naming the girl Rori after Gilmore girls 😂 when actually my grandfather is called Rory and I would love to name her after him. But I think people will think of Gilmore girls lol

I think that it’s a gorgeous name regardless and so many people wouldn’t know for me it’s just an example of how Rory can be used for a girl and work well!! And from experience of some of those around me (not my own) people will ask why you chose that name if they’re interested so they’d know it was to honour your grandfather.

Love it! My girl is Teddy & people sometimes mistake her for a boy before they meet her (ie at the doctors etc) but it’s never been a big deal. If you love it, go for it 😊 we get so many compliments on our choice & I like that it’s unique x
